About Us

The La Mirada Coordinating Council brings together leaders from La Mirada’s nonprofits, faith organizations, service clubs, and community groups to share information, coordinate activities, and strengthen connections across our city.

Formed in 2025, the Council was established to give local organizations a central place to collaborate and avoid overlapping events, while also fostering a spirit of cooperation. It’s a hub where ideas and resources are exchanged, partnerships are formed, and new opportunities to serve the La Mirada community are discovered.

The Council exists because we believe La Mirada is strongest when we work together. By sharing updates, supporting one another’s projects, and combining our efforts, we create a more connected, informed, and vibrant community.

Monthly meetings provide a forum for representatives from member organizations to come together, highlight upcoming events, and identify ways to collaborate. Each organization is given one seat at the table to represent its group and share updates with the larger council.

Through this spirit of cooperation, the La Mirada Coordinating Council continues to support the organizations that make our city such a special place to live, work, and serve.
